2018 in review / 2019 Bucket list
Hello guys , happy new year ! I hope your holidays were amazing, I hope you took the time to enjoy the last days of the year, to reflect on the year that was, the 2018 bucket list and to plan for the new year.
This past year has been full of highs and lows. I did not travel as much as I wanted to, they say that we make plans and God laughs, I canโt help but also laugh when I look back. All is well because I got to experience things I could only dream about and for that I am grateful.
My goal for the year was to push past my comfort zone and each of my travel experiences did just that.
2018 in a nutshell:
Wall Climbing at Climb Blue Sky.
Chasing waterfalls at Ngare Ndare forest.
Visited Stedmark Gardens zoo and got to hold a snake.
Indulged in some history, art and culture at the National Museum.
Visited Kenyaโs first winery and got to sample the fantastic Leleshwa wine.
Bungee jumped in Sagana.
Had an adventure packed weekend where I got to zip line, try my hand at archery and even went white water rafting.
Went bowling for the first time.

2019 bucket list:
- Kenya
The goal this year is to explore Kenya more.
Lamu is still on my list.
I dislike hiking but I want to go on hikes this year, maybe Iโll end up enjoying the process. That said, I really want to go to Mt Kenya and the Aberdares.
Itโs been a minute since Iโve been on safari, Iโd like to go to Maasai Mara and maybe go back to Samburu.
- Rwandaย and Burundi
- Malawi andย Mozambique
- UAE
This country is calling me back. Maybe itโs the Visit Dubai ads on every corner on the internet. Either way, iโd love to go back and explore more of Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
- Italy
I may or may not be obsessed with Italy. Good food, vespas, beaches, vineyards, whatโs there not to love!
- Indonesia
Bali specifically. Iโm curious to see what draws people to this place. It could be the elephants, tropical rainforests, monkeys, rice paddies, beaches or temples or maybe itโs Elizabeth Gilbertโs Eat, Pray, Love?
Experiences bucket list:
Sky diving and quad biking.
One of my biggest takeaways from 2018 is that I should say yes more often. Say yes to spontaneity, yes to taking bigger risks. Seeking discomfort will be carried forward to 2019 and I hope you guys challenge yourselves to go beyond your comfort zones.
If you have been to any of these places leave a comment below! What places are you dying to visit in 2019?
Wishing you all a lovely year filled with happiness, and more adventure!
Donโt forget to Seek Discomfort!

Not only Bali, there are a lot of beautiful places that you could come and have a wonderful holiday in Indonesia, especially Lombok, Tanah Toraja in South Sulawesi with their traditional ceremony, and others beautiful places that you could come in Indonesia. By the way, when you will visited Indonesia ? is it in this year ? regards
