A huge thank you for all the love you’ve shown f A huge thank you for all the love you’ve shown for the Marsabit stories, you’re really and truly the best❤️
.
.
.
My stories are a labour of love and I derive so much joy from creating them so it means the world when you appreciate my work.
.
.
.
Stick around, there’s stuff cooking in the OCD kitchen that I can’t wait to share with you!!
.
.
.
In the meantime, wait for the blog post that’s dropping later this week and if you have no idea what we’re talking about, click on the Marsabit highlight on my profile to see what went down.
📍 Kalacha Oasis . . Marsabit County is full of 📍 Kalacha Oasis

Marsabit County is full of contrasts, one minute you’re in a forest, next in the desert, cross over to an oasis and pass by a lake. One thing remains constant, the unrelenting heat.
.
.
Travel virtually with me to Marsabit by watching the “Marsabit “ highlight on my profile 🌞
Spent a few days exploring Marsabit County and I’m itching to go back. It was a classic case of there being so much to see but having so little time.
.
.
.
In the meantime, let’s relive those beautiful moments, catch up on how the trip went down on the “Marsabit” highlight on my profile 🌞

📍 Magura Waterfalls and Queens Cave

Throwback to one of my favourite waterfalls in the country. At the base of the falls is the Queens Cave, where Mau Mau fighters would hide out from the British.

More information about this falls, and the Aberdares is up on the blog, the link is in my bio🌞

Unfortunately, trekking to Gura falls is not an option, you can only view the waterfall from the deck at Karuru Falls.

No, but seriously, this is another reminder to live life fully, whatever that looks like for you. Whether it’s going on a trip, calling a friend, trying a new recipe, dancing in the rain, starting a business- bottom line is, live in the moment. You only get one life🌞
Don’t go chasing waterfalls was terrible advice Don’t go chasing waterfalls was terrible advice 😅

Go chase waterfalls, especially the majestic beauties in Aberdare National Park. Read about my experience up on the blog(link in bio) to get more information about the place and how you can also enjoy a similar experience🌞
6 years strong 💪🏾 . . I recently celebrated 6 years strong 💪🏾
.
.
I recently celebrated my six year blogversary and when I look back at my journey I can’t help but be grateful. I’m so grateful for each and every moment leading up to this.
.
.
Six years ago I bet on myself without knowing (or understanding 😂) what the blogging world entailed or where I was going with it. I just enjoyed travelling and sharing my experiences with people🤷🏾‍♀️😂
.
.
There’s been so many times I wanted to quit but somehow God kept steering me back to it. So I’m grateful for that and for the growth- in knowledge, mindset and community.
.
.
Six years later and I’m still betting on myself. I don’t know what the future holds for OCD but I’m excited to see where it’ll take me
.
Cheers to OCD 🥂
