Throwback to one of my favourite waterfalls in the country. At the base of the falls is the Queens Cave, where Mau Mau fighters would hide out from the British.

More information about this falls, and the Aberdares is up on the blog, the link is in my bio🌞

Unfortunately, trekking to Gura falls is not an option, you can only view the waterfall from the deck at Karuru Falls.

No, but seriously, this is another reminder to live life fully, whatever that looks like for you. Whether it’s going on a trip, calling a friend, trying a new recipe, dancing in the rain, starting a business- bottom line is, live in the moment. You only get one life🌞

I recently celebrated my six year blogversary and when I look back at my journey I can’t help but be grateful. I’m so grateful for each and every moment leading up to this.

Six years ago I bet on myself without knowing (or understanding 😂) what the blogging world entailed or where I was going with it. I just enjoyed travelling and sharing my experiences with people🤷🏾‍♀️😂

There’s been so many times I wanted to quit but somehow God kept steering me back to it. So I’m grateful for that and for the growth- in knowledge, mindset and community.

Six years later and I’m still betting on myself. I don’t know what the future holds for OCD but I’m excited to see where it’ll take me

Cheers to OCD 🥂
I have an insane calling to be where I'm not🏃🏾‍♀️

Did you know that you can use the Kiambu-Githiga-Limuru Route to get to the Naivasha- Nakuru highway without having to use Waiyaki Way or Ndenderu- Limuru Rd? Now you know 😅
Not only is the road absolutely beautiful past Kiambu town but it’s also smooth and there’s little to no traffic most times- well, comparably less than the traffic on Waiyaki Way😅

The hike takes about 20 minutes and is very beginner friendly. You only need to watch your step because the loose ground makes it very slippery. Predators and poisonous snakes have been spotted in the hill and it’s best to be accompanied by a Ranger to avoid such scary surprises 😅
